legion242 (1519), Richardson, Texas, USA Feb 12, 2008 I am really liking this brewery. Everything I would want from a Scoth Ale- tons of malt in the nose and on the tongue, with a hint of peatyness.
jzzbassman (685), New Albany, Mississippi, USA Aug 26, 2008 Mahogany with small tan head. Nice scotch aroma, sweet maple smoke. Flavor starts sweet, somewhat thin bodied for the style, malty as expected, with coke flavors and root spice. ucusty (1016), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Aug 26, 2008 Dark brown pour with rocky, light brown head. Heavy malt aroma of roast, peat and smoke with notes of molasses, chocolate and nuts. Flavor is sweet and moderately bitter — a nice balance. Medium body and average carbonation. Somewhat watery texture, but still smooth enough. Bitter finish and pleasant warming from alcohol. jcwattsrugger (3862), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Aug 25, 2008 750ml bottle-pours a big foamy to rocky light brown head and murky black color.
