At LCRBM 2009, Kulminator, Antwerp (Belgium)
Deep caramelish brown, muddy body. Lightly brown, creamy head. Aroma of wine, orange (peel), cara-malts, some stronger malts, ... quite fresh with a warming touch. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. The flavour is as the aroma quite refreshing, but it still has a warm mouthfeel.

Cloudy mid amber with a thin off white head. Strong dusty, wheaty notes, slight straw and earth. Nice sweetish finish with a faint prickly bitterness.

Oct 12, 2009 Growler at LCRBM5. Hazy amber, lasting beige head. OK dunkel, nicely burnt flavour, some decent malt on aroma. Some butter, but works better in the dunkel than in the helles. Still, it’s not very good though

Sep 30, 2009 Growler sample from LCRBM09. Red in the middle and tinted orange at the edges, bit of beige froth. Looks like iced tea. Thin, sweetish nose with vague caramel and fruit notes. Lightly sweet taste before firm, sticky bitterness rolls in without much to check it. Where’s the malt? One-dimensional.

Sep 15, 2009 [9/5/08] Growler sample during LCRBM at Kulminator in Antwerp. Cloudy dark orange with a white head. Aroma of husky malt, corn, and light toasty and fruity notes. Sweetish malty flavor with some bread, caramel and light toastiness. Finishes slightly drier. Light-bodied.

No glory, unharmonic.............

Light unclear medium orange amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, toffee, butter, moderate yeasty, dough. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration.
