deep golden yellow, fizzy effervescent head. Champagne aroma, musty, and sweet. VERY sweet palate, vaguely fruity although not directly apricot flavoured, more of a cheap champagne (or to be more accurate, sweet sparkling wine) quality. Fruit beers are really not my thing, but I always try to rate them on their own terms, especially the lambics. This doesn’t work as lambic in my opinion, no matter how objective I try to remain.

Bottle. Dark gold. Strong carbonation. Thick clingy white head. Sweet apricot aroma, unusual in that I find apricots to impart bitter aromas and flavours. Holy cow this packs a lot of sweetness and sourness! First there is an overpowering sweetness in the taste and then the sourness knocks you off your seat. Further sips acclimatize you to the sweetness but the sour edge is still very strong. I kind of like the sour apricot flavour pockets in the finish.

Some apricot flavor, but mostly subdued, may have been an older bottle, really reminded me of Sekt back home, abit of spiciness, pretty good.

Pours a golden color with a white head. Apricot is the dominate aroma and flavor with a slight peppery background to the flavor.

Bottle. Golden and kinda orange in colour with a small white head. Way too acidity and artificial. Sticky and sweet. Hint of stale bread. Not in my taste.

355 ml bottle. Golden orange with a light reddish hue. Small white head, mostly at the edges. Barn-yard, leather, port aromas. Not much apricot in the nose at first, but more as the beer warms up. Alcohol fusel-like aromas from what seems to be hops. Light-bodied. Sour apricot flavours. Feels sweet on the tongue, but finishes sour. Very refreshing.

Small offwhite coarse head. Light copper brown body with ongoing carbonation. Earthy, port-like aroma with notes of cloth, yeast, and cream. Acidic taste of apricot, stale cloth, and port. Acidity all the way through. Creamy wood, and other strange things. Dryish, fruity aftertaste. Excellent! This was really something special. (0.355l bottle.)
