| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 13, 2005 Apricot, peach juice, sugary aroma with a hint of butter and the lightest trace of sweat. Hazy copper with a fine-bubbled partial cover and ring of white head that leaves some sudsy lacing. Salty, sugary, peach flavour with a very light tartness and plenty of syrupy sweetness. Light body with prickly carbonation. Bottle sampled with MartinT, Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere. MartinT (5055), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 13, 2005 The Lure: The syrup at the bottom of a can of peaches offers mostly sweetness, but some kind of authentic fruitiness still resides within.
The Festivities: Slightly funky I admit, mostly quaffable, but moreover weak. Light tartness amidst the apricot/peach syrup, but not much else is present. Nonetheless well-done for a fruit beer, some people might like this on a terrace in summer.
Transcendence: I don’t know why I am more open to simplicity in estival moments, but I am. Rastacouere (5553), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 9, 2005 Clear light golden, light white head. Sweet apricot and peaches aroma reminds a bit of powder juice. Very sweet and juicy, lightly tart, but a bit childish, especially for its price. Light-medium body feels powdery on the tongue, carbonation is light and quite fitting I guess, but the global feel is the lack of deepness I fear. Pailhead (2593), Allen Park, Michigan, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 30, 2005 Updated: May 2, 2005Bottle: Strong apricot aroma. Aroma is slightly tart and almost lambic-like but a little too sweet. Pours a transparent orangish-gold with a white head. Lots of apricot in the flavor. Also has a sour tart apple flavor in the finish. Again lambic-like in the finish, but a little too much on the sweet side to really resemble one.---Didn’t realize this was a lambic when I rated it. kms399 (267), plymouth, Minnesota, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 26, 2005 Pale coppery colour. Mild farmyard notes in the aroma. Pleasant fruity flavour, although I’m not sure I could have identified it as apricot. Quite sweet and could do with a bit more oomph, but pleasant enough. Bottled at the Joet London gathering, January 2005.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 18, 2005 Almpost no head on an orange body. Contrary to its cherry and strawberri brothers, the apricot taste isn’t strong enought to make it worth drinking. All too bitter really. But I had to try it after the others of the Melbourn family. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 31, 2005 Pours a light amber color with a very thin head.
Aroma is sweet with a definate apricot scent.
Flavor is good, but odd: It’s really sweet with a sour Lambic presence, definately apricot. Not much more there, though.
Palate is crisp yet a bit sweet. Overall, it’s a nice fruity change, but not something I’d reach for very often.
