Has a light golden peach coloring with no head. This is very sweet and subdued for a lambic. The aroma is apple cider vinegar, apricot and a little alcohol. The taste starts a little tart with a little apple cider and hay. This is smooth. I am not a big fan of apricots, so that probably hurts the rating.

Fun beer, brilliant golden orange color, with fine bubbles. Honey apricot, and orange nose. Sweet apricot on the palate nice bubbly tingle. Crisp ripe fruit on the mid-palate, with lingering fruit finish. Fresh flavors Super fun to drink!

Pours apricot ;) color with white fizzy head. Smells of apricot with cloying mouldy overtones. Taste is overwhelming apricot, again with mold overtones. Very harsh, not easy to drink. Fizzy, clean mouthfeel. I dislike this beer and don’t feel it is a good example.

Bottled, pasteurised. Pinkish copper with fizzed head. Unnatural forced flavour with a sharp co2 background, rough and harsh.

Bottle into small plastic tasting cup, Humulus Lupus @ Jak’s Tap (Chicago). There was only one bottle of this at the tasting, and I was lucky enough to be at the table when the guy busted it out (pays to ask). Smelled nice: apricots obvious, schnaps, marmalade. Color was a champagne/amber. Flavor was nicely sour and cider-ish with some definite hops bitterness. Smooth and medium bodied, but there was no length or character to the finish. Quality.

Heavy apricot lambic that is better than most apricot beers. Realistically though, apricot is not a good flavor for beer.
