Pink micro head lasts thoughout. Brach’s cherry lolipop notes. Slight fizzy with cherry front-to-back and a slight alcohol finish. A different kind of lambic than I’m used to...more a fruit beer -- but I guess I’m just thinking gueuze. Lubiere (4552), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Upon opening the bottle, a pleasant cherry aroma strikes you. A burgundy red wine to light brown colour with a thin pinkish head. In aroma, cherry pie with notes of cherry candy drops. In mouth, a nice cherry beer with sweet cherry and lght lactic notes, reminiscent of Lindemans fruitesse, but not as overbearing. Bought at Beers of the World, late August 2006. feedmec00kies (49), New York, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 10, 2006 garnet red with a light pink head. smelled like powered sugar, cherry. tasted a lot like cherry ludens, especially at first, though once i got used to the sweetness i could get past the medicinal flavor a bit and more to the winey and very woody flavors. pretty syrupy. not really sour enough (and a little too medicinal), but after having lindemans kriek (which is not my idea of an ideal lambic), i have to say i enjoyed it more (though i wouldn’t call this a lambic...). helped to drink this with a sweet dessert to combat some of the sweetness too. This beer might be out ofplac7e calling it a lambic, but it’s better than a lot of the flavoring extract beers on the market Suttree (2743), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 20, 2006 Purpleish red, with a foamy pinkish head. Big cherry aroma, mostly fresh. Flavor is a mix of fresh cherry and candyish cherry flavors, plus some nice tart citrus flavors. Tasty. Doppelganger (1353), Dry County, Arkansas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 13, 2006 Cherry soda red with a bit of off-white foam. Rather sweet cherry candy aroma and something a little minerally. Flavor is fresh cherries with a little underlying tartness and a sweaty quality. Palate feels both thin, and at the same time, sticky. While I still think this is a pleasant beer, it fails to do what a fruited lambic ought to do--reveal a deeper and more interesting side of the fruit than you would get in it’s natural state. It really makes me wonder what this beer would have tasted like before the final dose of cherry juice. Might have been really interesting. gunnfryd (3615), Kristiansand, Norway
