Commercial Description:
Brewed with malted barley, wheat, hops, yeast, water, fresh cherries and their juice. Cherry Fruit Beer has a bouquet of fresh cherries. It makes an excellent aperitif in place of dry sherry. Complements carbonnade a la beouf, mussels in white wine, flavourful cheeses.

Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain/bread), lightly yeasty (cheese), with a strong note of cherry syrup. Flavor is heavily sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Medium to full body, syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Overly sweet, syrupy (in both nose and mouth), and just not really that enjoyable. It’s got just enough sourness to avoid being a total wash, though.

Plum colored body with a small pink head. Aroma is definately cherry with a few light whiffs of malt I was able to detect among the friut. Flavor is tart cherry with some hints of malt.

Smells like cherries but I don’t want a beer to smell like nothing but cherries. Pours in such a way that it looks like (as my friend put it) "snow cone syrup." Taste is also of cherries with a slight caramel hint to it. Palate leaves a sweet taste on your lips with a short lived caramel taste on your tongue.

Poured a muddy brown with a white head. Aroma is a ludeman’s cherry cough drop. Flavor is sweet and candy like with light cherry flavor. High carbonation and fizzy. Perhaps liquid nibs is a better way to describe the flavor.

OMG! This beer is outstanding! A good malt with cherry juice makes this beer taste like a sour cherry soda. The only drawback is the $6 a bottle price tag.

Dark red with a frothy pink head. The aroma is sweet cherries, not as medicinal as I had feared. The taste lacks the tartness I was looking for, but it was nice enough, with a little final bitterness. As for the Britain v Belgium contest, I rate this ahead of Belle-Vue Kriek, behind Lindemans, and on a par with the Mort Subite.

This is not a lambic. It is a fruit beer. Ruby/brown with a light pinkish white head. Nose is all cherry, heavily sweet and a little tart. Simple but nice. Same flavor. Full, rich, syrupy body. Liquid dessert.
