Commercial Description:
Brewed with malted barley, wheat, hops, yeast, water, fresh cherries and their juice. Cherry Fruit Beer has a bouquet of fresh cherries. It makes an excellent aperitif in place of dry sherry. Complements carbonnade a la beouf, mussels in white wine, flavourful cheeses.

Bottled. Pours a magnificent red color leading into such a full aroma of cherries its almost like candy. At first touch of the palate the flavor is almost too much cherry, but the malt brings a smoother finish to the taste. Definitely a brew to enjoy every once in a while...too much is too sweet!

12 oz bottle. Brownish pink champagne without the streaming bubbles. Tiny roe rolling head settles to a porous skin. Leaves rings of sticky scum. Strong cherry coughdrops and lollipops. Bubblegum. Taste is sour cherry (sure this is not Smith Bros?) with a little bite. Sweet is dominating; my teeth hurt a bit. Essentially a fancy fruit soda but alcohol does sneak up. One advantage to drinking in a flute is getting to watch the pour 5 or 6 times; definitely the best thing about this lambik (?).

Pours a reddish color. Aromas of cherries, almonds. Flavor is a tart cherry taste, not a big as I expected. Like cherry couygh drops. Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. This is a great beer. The top of the 3 Melbourn Bros. fruit beers.

Gee what a beer. Didnt expect anything like this from britian. Aroma is hardcore cherrys, sweet but not to a rediculus level. Taste i also hardcore cherry and very very easy to drink, reminds me of lindemans kreik, but alot better.

The color of pink champange with a frothy pink head. Aroma of cherry cough medicine. Flavor is cherry pie, sweet yet a little tart with a lightly dry acidic finish. Light body and sticky with champange like carbonation.

Dark reddish with short pink head; slightly medicinal cherry candy smell and the flavour follows up. Huge cherry candy flavour. This is very sweet and tart -- the acidity is such that it made two tasters cough upon swallowing. But despite its one dimensionality, the taste is an enjoyable treat.

12 fl oz bottle, $3. Sweet nose, def. cherries but also cough medicine. Taste is easy w/ only moderate tartness. Sweetness doesn’t over power, but comes close. Too weak to waste my time on again.
