Commercial Description:
Brewed with malted barley, wheat, hops, yeast, water, fresh cherries and their juice. Cherry Fruit Beer has a bouquet of fresh cherries. It makes an excellent aperitif in place of dry sherry. Complements carbonnade a la beouf, mussels in white wine, flavourful cheeses.

This beer reminds me too much of cough syrup, The cherry flavors seem to artificial. Yeasty and malty. Standard tart like other lambics.

The aroma has plenty of cherry along with a sweetness that is so strong it’s like syrup. There is also some yeast and almonds in there. Then appearance is dark red with a small head. The flavor is sweet, sour, and has plenty of cherry. The palate is average. This beer is ok.

Bottled. Clear red coloured with a pink head. Aroma of almonds, overriped apples and cherries with notes of dishwasher. Flavour of cherries with notes of wood.

The beer smells like a cherry cough drop. Not a very appealling smell. I also don’t specifically klike the flavor of this cherry tart beer. Virtually no head and no lacing. All in all a very bad lambic.

This is a dessert beer, it almost tasted like candy. Very tart, very sweet, but not much beer. The pour was beautiful, nice color and head. The aroma was awesome! Such a complete cherry character, smelling this beer was almost like eating fresh cherries! Kinda earthy, it was a complete olfactory experience. If the flavor had that much depth, this would be a fantastic beer, but it almost becomes like a soft drink. Still enjoyable to drink though!

Smells like sour cherries, quite strongly. The head is white and flaky. The beer is quite sour as well. It reminds me more of a Flemish sour than a lambic, but whatever. My re-rate is almost exactly the same score and description.

As red as a beer can get with a strawberry colored, thin head. Intense aroma of cherries that are so ripe that they smell like they are rotting and are doing so while bathing in a bowl of simple sugar syrup with just a touch of sourness. Very reminiscent of a good pie filling. Flavor is as intense as the aroma. Quite amazing with the sourness balancing the finish. Straightforward and very flavorful.

Mouth watering sweet/tart cherry pie aroma. Sweet and fruity flavor, tasted just like fresh cherries and candy, really good stuff.
