Commercial Description:
Brewed with malted barley, wheat, hops, yeast, water, fresh cherries and their juice. Cherry Fruit Beer has a bouquet of fresh cherries. It makes an excellent aperitif in place of dry sherry. Complements carbonnade a la beouf, mussels in white wine, flavourful cheeses.

Deep red with a pink bubbly head. Aromas are sweet and rich cherries with some sourness. Tastes very lively, really full of flavour with a strong cherry sourness on the finish. Has a nice foaming mouthfeel. Even better than the others in the range.

I liked this one just as much as the strawberry. Nice ruby pour with pink head. Big cherry aroma, with cherry and malt in taste. Smooth, sweet, cherry finish.

Bottle. Pours deep ruby with almost no head and very little carbonation. Nose is strong red cherry with a malty background. The flavor is intense cherry, mild musty malt, and very sweet, finishing with moderate sourness and a cherry aftertaste. Too sweet and medicinal. Still, worth the bottle price.

Bottle from Smokeless Joe. Deep cherry colour, Aroma of cherry halls, very sweet. Flavour was all cherries, slightly acidic, mild sourness, mild malt near the back. Light body and light carbonation. Finishes very sweet.

Nifty drink. It pours a deep ruby color with a healthy magenta head. The aroma is fresh dark cherries, a splash of maraschino juice, and some tartness. Only slightly acidic, it has a deep red cherry taste with a dash of sourness at the end. I’d say it "complements carbonnade a la beouf, mussels in white wine, flavourful cheeses," but that’s in the commercial description and some might think I wasn’t being original.

Bottled. Deep clear red. Sweet cherry aroma. Balsamic sweet cherry flavour with some grape stone bitterness. A hint of fresh acidity, but sweetness takes the upper hand, and disturbs the nice flavours.

Pours a light pink, two finger head, fades slowly and leaves a good lace. Light carbonation and light bodied. Cloudy red color. Nose is a strong cherry. Like drinking a cherry soda, no detectable hops, finishes on the tart side. Good beer for someone who doesn’t like beer. Expensive - $6.99 for a 12oz bottle from Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, Me.

Tart and intensely cherry, like juicy juice + beer, or kriek lite. This was a good sweet dessert beer that had just enough tang and big fruit to avoid being cloying.
