The aroma is sweet and totally dominated by ripe cherries. The flavor is sweet and also dominated by cherries but with notes of wood. The end is dry more than sour, so calling it a kriek is a little far out. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Distinct cherry aroma. Medium body with sweet’n’sour cherry notes - but definitely different from a Belgian fruit lambic. 260107 yespr (12404), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Light sulphorish dry cherry aroma. Flavour starts extremely sweet cherry flavoured and gains a solid acidic to citric touch along the way. Solid cherry flavour with a mild cripsy mouthfeel. Ends with a lingering cherry aroma reaching the back of the nose. Nice for what it is. omhper (12260), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 1, 2005 Bottled. Deep clear red. Sweet cherry aroma. Balsamic sweet cherry flavour with some grape stone bitterness. A hint of fresh acidity, but sweetness takes the upper hand, and disturbs the nice flavours. oh6gdx (9047), Vasa, Finland

Has a medicinal character with deep cherries, some sugary sweetness and slight phenols underneath. Sweet fruity flavours, some clean acidic undertones. Reminds me of Lindeman's Kriek, only thicker. Still on the sweeter side of things, though the ingredients don't list sugar (but they do list cherry juice).
