Pours a dark ruby colour with a medium full head, has a real quality lacing factor also .. . Smell is of sweet kids cherry juice and fresh pressed cherries+ dark cherry skins, some cherry brandy too ( The best flavor comparison would actually be a cherry fizz lollipop, the one with that fizzy shit in the middle..) .. .. Loaded with flavour: albeit not that complex, very clean and sweet, still a sweeter juice added lambic but damn enjoyable .. . .. Not for the serious Belgian kriek fan, but fuckin tasty and i enjoyed it... 34° 45′ 54″ S, 70° 17′ 11″ W PopeGelasius3 (54), Athens, Georgia, USA

A good malt with cherry juice makes this beer taste like a sour cherry soda. The only drawback is the $6 a bottle price tag. bweezy (53), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Phenomenal smelling brew the cherry is coming through strong and sweet without being fake, the more I smell the less sweet it is and it becomes more of a sour metallic aroma the malt can be detected but its very mild. Tasty so very tasty I’m drooling between sips, sweet and sour, tons of cherry. This goes down so easy so smooth and very clean it’s not disgustingly sweet like other cherry beers bellview creek is destroyed by this. Must go buy more of this so dam good best fruit beer I’ve ever had." dwyerpg (2553), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

The beer is quite sour as well. It reminds me more of a Flemish sour than a lambic, but whatever. My re-rate is almost exactly the same score and description. | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 27, 2003 Restrained cherry aroma of cough drops, sweet cordial. Emphatic grenadine red, pink-white head. Beautiful flavor, sweet front, sour/tart finish. Tang on tongue, though some medicinal quality might be a focus of some criticism. But for me, it is an elixir, looking like a potion you would find in a Lord of the Rings movie. Refreshing!
