Berries but very generic tasting, moderately tart with low acidity. Decent offering. kopher (302), New York, USA

very fruity aroma, sugar and berries mostly, like candy. similar flavor, overly sweet but also fairly tart. it’s really more candy than beer, but it’s not bad, and not quite cloying.
a bit effervescent and somewhat slick. not very lambic-y, other than slight sour notes. Rustyham (565), miami, Florida, USA

It’s like those all natural fruit roll-ups you can get at Smoothie King, you can feel the grain left by the pressed fruit. My only regrets are that it was not more sour and the body was a little thin. SudsMcDuff (1693), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

Tangy and sweet, light light tartness, with a very pure strawberry flavour, medium finish .. . 1-1, just like the scoreline the beer evens out, very refreshing stuff!!A great strange little beer, that really isn’t to involved but generally enjoyable.. . | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 29, 2009 The beer connoisseur who sold me this beer told me that it was a subtle strawberry flavor that tasted more like that of a nut brown ale, in the tradition of Newcastle. Boy was he dead wrong! When you pour this fruit beer you can see a deep, rich maroon color and a medium-sized head. This opaque lambic beer from England has a rich, sweet berry smell from the minute you pour it into that thin lambic glass. Because I enjoy sweet beers, this was very easy on my palate. This could prove to be too sweet for beer drinkers not keen to this flavor. It has a smooth, subtle carbonation flavor throughout the mouth before you swallow. Overall, I love this sweet lambic beer. Amazingly strong stawberry jam fumes made me drool instantly. Small thick head stuck around till i’d finished it and the beer was dark reddish brown and clear. Liquid strawberry jam that has a nice tart feel to it and smelt kinda like it was warmer than warm. The tannic after taste was excellent. A litre or two would’ve made for a better night; but I can just imagine the blinding crippling hangover the next day...oh, and waking up next to my wife still wearing the leather pants would’ve been an awkward moment... The aroma was strong tangy and tart strawberry jam. The flavor was tart and mouth puckeringly sour with a strong strawberry jam element. The finish was long, very tart and sour. Very nice.
