Dull amber with a pink hue and little head. Strawberry apple aroma, a bit sharp and tart. Very sweet but not cloying. Fresh juice flavor with underlying funkiness and some acidity. If it was more acidic and less sweet, it would be better.

Bottle (500ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and tupalev - blankboy’s bottle. Clear pinkish amber with a decent white foamy diminishing head. Tart, sugary, slightly funky concentrated ripe strawberry juice aroma, a little yeasty. Taste is a little sour, a touch harsh, and there’s some yeasty bitterness to it, but the flavour seems genuine and is not overpowering. Mouthfeel is fizzy, syrupy and acidic, but not unpleasant. Overall this probably smells nicer than it tastes, but is at least mediocre, which puts it a notch above the apricot.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, GregClow, and Blankboy. Well, I liked the cherry a lot, and hated the apricot. This fell somewhere in between. Aroma of strawberry daiquiri. Tasted like it too with a little yogurt thrown in there. Dry. Reddish orange with no head. Interesting and works way better than apricot, but I wouldn’t have it again.

I sipped on this for an hour. Lots of lingering strawberries with a nice sodium touch that makes the finish refreshing. Very sweet, like drinking strawberry shortcake. Not my style of brew but should be big with the ladies.

Bottle from Waitrose. Nice fizzy, red colour, with the ghost of a white head. Aroma of trifle, with some tartness - smells lambic. Nice stuff - unexpectedly good. Sweet, fizzy pop strawberry flavour, with a hint of champagne underlay.

The aroma is sweet and sour with strawberries and a cider like quality. The appearance is amber/red with a small but persistent head. The flavor is tart, sour, sweet, and fruity with an emphasis on strawberry. I am quite glad it did too because so many fruit beers fall short of the flavor they are supposed to have. The palate is smooth. This one is likeable but barely.
