Strawberry is definitely there, but some funky aroma is much stronger and not all that pleasant. Pours a slightly hazy red with some orange with a soapy pink head. Real sweet strawberry up front with light tartness in the finish. Hint of vinegar in the background. The funkiness in the aroma just doesn’t work for me. It’s not in the flavor, but I smell it every time I go to take a drink. Gazza (721), Worcester, Worcestershire, England

I wasn;t as impressed with the strawberry version of this beer as it seems to have a sickly sweetness drowning out everything else there. Still hints of brett yeast and old sacks but the sweet syrupy fruit drowns it all. NosirIwont (1180), Aalborg Vestby, Denmark
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 2, 2005 Bottle. Amber/copper colour. Short, pinkish head. Strawberry aroma - candy-like. Sour/acidic flavour of strawberry. Like lambrusco. Metallic notes. Not that beer-like. Ok, though. szkot (100), Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 28, 2005 Hazy ruby in color with a small head. Aroma is of strawberry jam. The taste starts with strawberry sweetness, then draws with the slightest bit of tartness in the finish. Not sure whether I would prefer this before a meal or afterwards. Anyway, a very nice beer. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 16, 2005 I really liked this beer. Poured hazy pink with a medium light pink head. Huge strawberry aroma. Tastes like strawberry (natural, not fake), with a malt backbone and some Jolly Rancheryness at the finish. One of the better strawberry beers I have had, and I willl buy this again in a heartbeat. GirlyBeer (183), Biddeford, Maine, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | May 8, 2005 Thin head that disburses quickly. Great mouthfeel. Nice tartness which goes well with the strawberry flavor. But, there is an almost cough syrupy undertone to it. lamas (716), Adams Morgan, Washington DC, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 30, 2005 Bottle. Light reddish pour with a small fizzy pinkish/white head that dissipates very quickly. Plenty of strawberries in the aroma. More like a strawberry jam rather than fresh smell though. Some champagne-like qualities to the aroma too. Flavor is packed with strawberries. Like some sort of candy. Crisp and refreshing. Incredibly sweet with a bit of a tart finish. Touches of vinegar. This seems more like a sparkling wine rather than a lambic. I don’t think I could handle more than one of these at a time. Cool bottle. dornoy (681), Lyngby, Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 2, 2005 White head on a pale ruby body. This beer is well adapted to apéritif or after-dinner drinking. It has a lively fizziness and a nice taste. Should be drunk chilled. Very nice when drink at the right time.
