I give this beer a high score because it isn’t supposed to taste like beer and it doesn’t, it tastes like a soft drink. BillKismet (1952), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 17, 2007 Pours an appealing cherry-amber body with decent head. Delicious strawberry aroma and easy, sweet strawberry flavor that is mildly tart on the finish. Quite a nice fruit beer, wheat provides good balance. A treat of moderate complexity. reakt (937), Greater London, England
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 12, 2007 Bottle courtesy of my uncle Pete. I literally did a double take when I saw him drinking this at my cousins party. A British lambic, I thought, I’ve got to try this! On his next journey he kindly picked me up a couple, so cheers Pete. Orangey red with a small pink head. Nose of sweet sugary strawberry and a slight tinge of hay. Tastes of strawberry soda with a bit of yeast thrown in. Kinda reminded me of rosé wine in a way, hints of grenadine and rhubarb and custard sweets also. Maybe not so beer like but damn refreshing no less... | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 18, 2007 A Mes rate: Bottle thanks to Reakt. Don’t care what anyone says about these, I love them all. Fruit juice they may be but served freezing cold on a hot summers day these have got to be a good idea. To me the idea of spontaneously fermented fruit juice (made with good quality juice I might add) is an absolute winner. As a beer, in all honesty, its probably not that great. As a morning drink... every bit of my childlike sugar feindage is satisfied along with a nice little twist of lambic character. Love it. Like a big girl. I do I dooo! smartlung (154), Valrico, Florida, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 11, 2007 Different, and interesting. A British answer to Lambic? Very sweet, but with some nice sharp bitterness of hops. Heavy carbonation as well. bhensonb (4360), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 6, 2007 Bottle. Aroma of strawberries with a hint of sour. Reddish tinged amber color with a pink tinged white head that is respectable. Tiny bubbles. Thin to medium bodied with slightly sharp carbonation. The flavor is sweetish with strawberry and a very faint sour note. Pleasant, but that’s pretty much it. The finish is a bit tart, like strawberry skin or a not quite ripe berry. Worth consuming every so often. Skinnyviking (4171), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 6, 2007 Bottle. Small fluffy pink lasting head. Clar dark brown body. Nice and pleasant round smooth and sweet strawberry aroma. Very sweet and sugary flavor with a good deal of carbonation and a long sweet aftertaste. Is this a beer ?
