Flavor was a thick syrupy strawberry flavor, sugary, detected other fruits such as cherries being in the taste. Good mouthfeel. Made a nice dessert beer. faroeviking (6125), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2007 Bottle. Darkish cloudy orangy-red colour. Aroma like fresh strawberry jam, maltiness, little banana and sour apple. Flavour has the mouthfeel and underlying touch of beer though wothout much hoppiness. There is a lot of strawberry, which is well balanced with the malt, sweet and sour, with a good touch of apple. In the beginning it tastes like some drink for children but it matures and is quite adult and fresh in the finish. Great when served chilled on a warm summer day. ratman197 (3256), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 14, 2007 Bottle SH Jones, Bicester, 12-05-07. Aroma of Rowntree’s strawberry jelly smelt great and reminded me of watching my mum in the kitchen pouring that boiling water over those cubes of jelly and watching them dissolve, anyway enough of that. The colour was a reddy/orange colour not as pinky red as I was expecting, there was a decent sized but fast dissappearing head but even that was whiter than I thought that it should be. Tasted very sweet but great strawberryness that just wins you over, think I will stock up on some of these as they’re easy for me to come by and maybe some of the apricot and cherry counterparts for an alternative refreshing summer tipple. crushinat0r (227), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 4, 2007 I don’t know what’s wrong with the smell of this beer, I get nothing. But it’s a nice red colour, thick white lacing head, which is surprisingly nice for this type of beer. It’s a little on the syropy side and has a very nice (and not overpowering) taste of strawberry (similar to Fruli, but less sugary and sweet). A very fine example of Lambic fruit beers. hellbilly (1564), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 16, 2007 bottle- strong strawberry aroma, along with alcohol. I was really surprised to find out that the abv is quite low, considering what I preceived to be a strong alcohol taste and aroma. Not bad, a lot of complexity for a fruit beer.
