Jun 23, 2006 Full of Flavour and satisfyingly thirst quenching on a hot day. Ignore all the other reviews - they must be drunk - buy this beer its the best - if you like Sam Adams or a good english beer its a happy medium.

Oct 16, 2008 The best tasting beer I ve ever had..Hv e to drink VB in NZ though because they don’t bring It in here..after living in Melbourne I crave for that drop every 5 minutes..spose I am just a real man who loves a real bitter. can knock off two 6 ieeez without looking at the bottles...

Aug 10, 2006 I think the other reviewers are wine tasters b/c this beer is an awesome cheap alternative to the more expensive carlton crown lager and james squire. This beer is great and for the price it beats the crap out of VB and Toohey’s New.

Aug 14, 2006 Much better than VB, used to be cheaper too. Good beer for a session at home in front of the footy or take it to a party and steal better (more expensive) beers from the fridge.

Oct 19, 2006 Good sessional beer watching the cricket or footy. Nothing like a Melbourne straight out the esky on a hot summer’s day.
There are better beers but there are also a lot worse!!
Not as sweet as VB.
