Commercial Description:
This product displays the fullness and balance of CUB's traditional lagers. The fruity/yeasty aroma and increased bitterness produces a tasty drop.

If VB is known as the Green Death, This is the Red Death......Horrid stuff, I would rather drink light beer

from Bier-Bienne - golden-bronze colour with an irregular foam; flowery hints in the nose; medium-bodied and a tart effervescence; sweet and with a shy bitterness; quite dry flowery finish

Bottled 375ml. Pale golden with an extremely fast diminishing fizzy white head. Disgusting aroma of vomit, boiled vegetables, old socks and sour apples. Metallic. Vomit, gone off cheese and old socks showing up in the taste. Very similar to Victoria Bitter in my opinion. One of the worst beers I have ever had.

375ml bottle. Looks okay for a cartlon beer and has a good foamy head and a clear amber colour. The overpowering hop aroma quickly spoils any other aromas that may be trying to come through. Strong bitterness but lacks flavour.

Had this one during my holiday in Australia april/may 2009. Golden colored brew. Malty, dusty aroma. Flavor is sweet, crisp, bitterness, a bit sticky. Not really good. But... when it’s 34 degrees celcius it’s great.

If VB in terms of shittiness is like being hit by a Kingswood with a 150kg bogan driving it, MB is the same thing with a 100kg bogan. Puke inducingly shit like VB, but a bit diluted so ever so slightly more bearable. Still, I’d only drink it if I was dying of thirst and this was all there was on offer, but It’d probably kill me with it’s shittiness anyway.

Can; No aroma to speak of and a quickly fading white head. Very watery metallic flavour. Nothing special at all.

One of the better of the pale lagers or bitter variety brewed in Australia. Pale gold in color. Large head. Faint hop aroma with a bit of a metallic aftertaste--what is it with that metallic aftertaste in Australian beers?
