Bottled. Almost golden in color, without carbonation, but with a small white head on top. Weak but pleasant aroma, fruity and sweet. Quite fruity flavor too, with some malt and hops in it. Medium body and a lighlty hoppy finish. Decent beer. Rating: 5-3-6-3-11-2.8. (060720)

Bottle. (4.7%ABV) A slightly pale, golden beer with a dense, one finger white head. Grainy on the nose, with some fruityness. Slightly citrusy and with a hint of wet cardboard too. Grainy, almost sweetish and corn-ish flavor with fruityness as well. Some bitterness and a little wet cardboard in the background. Very watery on the palate, and lacking on carbonation. Short, grainy and fruity finish with some disturbing metal and a faint bitterness. I guess I had a weak moment the last time I rated it, this time I’m more on line with the other raters it seems. It lacks on the good stuff and has some annoying off flavors. Even though it’s available in Norwegian stores now, I don’t see a need to buy more of theses. (090407)

Bottle. Golden colour with huge white head. Sweet, grainy, fruity aroma. Similar for the taste with some hops and a light bitterness. Light and carbonated mouthfeel, but not in a particularly bad way. Not bad really.

Bottle at Ristorante Violino in WInchester, VA. Pours standard golden with a lasting white frothy head. The flavor and the aroma have the exact same plusses (fresh grain and zesty, lemony hops) and a common negative; metallic flavor. Medium to light body with very spritzy carbonation. Good lacing and head retention. Worth a try but not worth revisiting.

Tarnished golden color. Aroma of hops and malt. Flavor begins with a light grapey sweetness. Hops at the finish, except that the grapey component is still a bit noticeable. It’s a bit thin (well it’s a pale lager), and it made me think of the grape sodas of my childhood. Not to say it is cloyingly sweet, nor is it all that grapey. Just enough something to remind me of concord grapes. Just a hint. Beats Stella all to heck. Seems to go well with spicey food.

Nice malty aroma with a bit of fruitiness. Kinda cool green/brown bottle, foil label, darkish straw gold, big white head. Malty lager flavor with a little bit of tartness. Medium hopping. A decent choice at the local Italian restaurant.

My bottle reads 4.8% but the foil around the neck is printed with "150° Anniversario", so it may be <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/menabrea-150°-an />
Mid-golden with faint streams of carbonation under a creamy white head that settles slowly to a thin film. Mild cattiness fades (yet lingers) under pronounced bread and herb aromas. Flavor follows suit with an additional touch of sweetness. Not the best, but I was expecting much worse.
