Pale yellow, white head with some decent lace. Nose is chalk, grassy hops, husky lager malt, a little skunk. Flavor is dry torrified grain and husky sourness with a slight bile quality. Decent weedy hop backdrop. Not as vapid as most beers that get lumped into the pale lager category. tarjei (1762), Bryne, Norway

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 24, 2008 It was kind of like drinking popcorn, but the popcorn taste just wouldn’t go away. The taste was a bit sweet and the color was a yellow in between a pilsner and a corona. It’s probably pretty good served ice cold at a drive in movie on a sweltering summer day, and then skip the popcorn. Sigmund (2301), Hafrsfjord, Norway

Crystal clear golden colour, big and lasting white head. Strong and sweetish fruity aroma. The flavour is fairly clean and zesty, no unpleasant off-flavours, moderate hops in the finish. Definitely not the worst pale lager I’ve had.
