Bottle, from Phil_l, via Beer Merchants. Thanks Phil! Pale yellow, white head with some decent lace. Nose is chalk, grassy hops, husky lager malt, a little skunk. Flavor is dry torrified grain and husky sourness with a slight bile quality. Decent weedy hop backdrop. Not as vapid as most beers that get lumped into the pale lager category.

33 cl bottle at home, bought at Vaaland, Bryne. Abv is 4,7%. Clear golden color, nice creamy head. Aroma has spices and fruit in moderate amounts. The flavor is a bit sweet with some bitterness. Thin and watery body.

Bottle. Dense mostly lasting white head. Straw yellow body. Clean, fairly dry and grainy malt aroma. Hayish hops in the background. Taste is well balanced, has a moderatly sweet and quite crisp grainy maltiness, a lemony fruitness and some noble hops down below. Light to medium body. Sugar notes in the finish. Approved!

this had a bit of a skunk taste to it. It wasnt too shabby but not one of my favorites. better than the 150 anniversary by far.

It was kind of like drinking popcorn, but the popcorn taste just wouldn’t go away. The taste was a bit sweet and the color was a yellow in between a pilsner and a corona. It’s probably pretty good served ice cold at a drive in movie on a sweltering summer day, and then skip the popcorn.

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV in Norway is 4.7%. Crystal clear golden colour, big and lasting white head. Strong and sweetish fruity aroma. The flavour is fairly clean and zesty, no unpleasant off-flavours, moderate hops in the finish. Definitely not the worst pale lager I’ve had.
