Golden blond coloured beer with lots of carbonation and an average white head. Sweet hoppy aroma with some grainy touches. Medium to full palate. Finish is bitter sweet, hoppy touched. Not bad, a medium lager.

Draught. Clear yellow with white head. Thin with low bitterness. Some sweetness and some other taste I can not identify. Not that good.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm, 9 July 2008) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of grain and hints of grassy hops. Malty, bready taste with a nice, delicate grassy bitterness in the finish. Fairly dry. Clean and fresh. A decent standard lager, solid and well made but without leaving the mainstram with an inch.

Bottle 0,66ltr bought in Italy: This is mine favorite Italian lager, golden looks with some fruity/herbel taste and very fresh tatse.

Bottle. About what I was expecting, another Italian disapointment. Is looking for a decent Italian lager to go with pizza such a cursed quest? The aroma to this beer is just foul, as skunked doesn’t even begin to describe it. The visuals are right on for the style, pale yellow with a fizzy, pure white head. The flavor was a bit better than I was expecting from the aroma, but not by much. Corn and a bit of a hoppy note dominate here. Bahhh.. Moving on.

Medium offwhite lasting head. Slightly hazy pale golden body with very light carbonation. Acidic malty aroma with fruity notes. Soft lightly acidic wheaty fruit taste, quite light and delicate. Dry caramelly lightly roasty aftertaste with light hoppy notes. (0.33l bottle from gr0ve, label says Birra dalla Storia Mao Tse-tung.)
