This reminded me a lot of Pilsner Urquell, but it isn’t quite as good. This is a very light beer, with a very assertive hop flavor. This would be one of those perfect summer beers.

Bright yellow with a castle of white foam protecting it. Almost a spicy aroma, and indeed this beer delivers a more earthy flavor that most European pilsners ... but still rooted in its maltiness. Respectable bitterness in the finish.

From one of Italys smallest breweries comes Menabrea. A pale, lager - nothing special really

Finally even Italy has a good commercial beer. The taste is bitter and malty, with good traces of hop in the aftertaste.

So pale it’s hardly there. Vanilla, pine and light kolschy fruit straight out of the bottle. I know it’s cheating and cheap to stick corn in your beers, but sometimes it imparts some pleasantly creamy flavours. And anyway, the maize is less apparent here than the noble hops. Fresh, grassy and uncomplicated, with way more (coniferous) hop presence than most beers of its ilk. I thought this was a pretty decent proper pilsner, and certainly not a pissy pale lager.

Sweet at first, then slight rotting fruit taste. Actually pretty good hop balance. Refreshing, that’s it.

Kinda light, but yall know that when they put the foil on it the stuff's straight. Goes down easy, even on the first beer.

Nice malty aroma with a bit of fruitiness. Kinda cool green/brown bottle, foil label, darkish straw gold, big white head. Malty lager flavor with a little bit of tartness. Medium hopping. A decent choice at the local Italian restaurant.
