Golden color and thin white head. The aroma of intense malt is faithful to the style. Round body that opens to the whole fullness of the toasted malt. The dry and bitter end.

Bottle. Pours deep chestnut brown with a lovely, creamy, off-white head. Light lacing. Sweet, sugary aroma, Belgian sugar, liqourice and rye bread. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is a tad metallic, alcoholic dry, light caramel, Belgian sugar, liqourice. Far too harsh and sharp.

Bottle 660ml. @ home.
Clear medium brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, fruity, brown sugar, bread and chocolate notes, light raisin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter slightly fruity (plumb and prune notes) flavor, overpowered by alcohol. Oily palate. Boring.

66.3 cL bottle. Pours dark maghoni brown with a fully diminished light tan head. Aroma is sweet breadish and mild cinnamon/cardemomme spiced. Sweet initial flavour, meets the back of the tongue with a more spiced breadish flavour and a light bitterness following. Somewhat dark fruity too.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep amber-brown colour with a nice medium sized creamish beige head leaving a good lacing. Sweet well toasted maltiness in the aroma with caramel and grains. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet and bitter with a good toasty maltiness, caramel, hops, grains and some alcohol. Dry bitter finish.
