Dec 26, 2007 Bottle. Reddish light black colour with a little head. Aroma of roastedness, malt and caramel. Flavour of smooth roastedness, caramel and chocolate. Ends up quite dry.

Dec 25, 2007 Bottle poured as a clear dark brown with a tan head that seemed to collapse on itself. Offered a nice sweet aroma with some roastedness and very light hops. At first tasted thin but then built up slowly into a nice chocolate and dried fruit combo. Nice blend here.

Aroma of dried fruit, hint of berries, sweet chocolate and coffee. Over the palate roasted malt, vinous, hint of liquorish. Medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Dec 18, 2007 Pours black with a thick off white head. Dry roasted malt aroma. Roasted malt taste, the ale thins the body out, making it very easy to drink. Kind of like a black and tan that was not poured correctly. Finishes with a hint of hops.
