Easy drinking. Smells great and goes down smooth. Definitely getting some roasted coffee flavors that disappear quickly. Doesn’t leave a whole lot on the palate, but that’s not always a bad thing. Very drinkable, albeit a little average tasting. Decided to try it because when I go to Ballast Point for growlers fills, I occasionally get their "Black Eye" which is half Black Marlin Porter and half Big Eye IPA. I was suprised, but didn’t really expect how malty it wounded up being. Nice malt flavor though. xproudfoot (729), Paleolithic, Pennsylvania, USA

Tasted like a stout, but easier to drink. From bomber thanks to beastiefan2k. Very dark pour with tan head. Nose is roasted malt with a sweet rosted flavor. Palate was very appealing. Nice.
