Bottle. Dark mahogony beer with a tan head. Light roasty aroma with grapefruit. Roasty, coffee flavor with grapefruit. Medium-plus bodied. Some bitterness throughout. Grapefruit, caramel, and light roast lingers. Muddled - but what do you expect with grapefruit and roast/coffee.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and bread, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle. Pours an amber brown body with a tan head. Huge malty aroma that floats to your nose as your pour. Coco, chocolate, a light mineral flavor, with loads of malt. A good beer esp at 3$ 22oz bomber.

Pours a murky brown color from the bomber with a fizzy tan head and a coating of sediment that makes the bottom of the glass look like the ocean floor. Smells of juicy red grapes, dark cocoa, and barley with flavors of toasted malts, dark fruits, caramel, and rum. Bold and interesting, yet just shy of effectively blending the two styles.

Pours like night had fallen and the buffalo layed down for a nap. A decent head arises but falls like the buffalo to a thin sheet of silk. Aromas of roasted malty goodness. Full nectar with superb carbonation. A moderate roast intermingled with a mildly sweet malted molasses backdrop. This is in balance. Tastes more on the English side. The finish is long and roasty with a mild citrus hop cometh forth.
