Dec 22, 2006 22 oz bottle. Pours very dark brown. Not quite black, but close. Head was quite small , Not a whole lot of lacing. Nose was burnt malts, coffee, and chocolate. Mouthfeel ordinary, and flavors mild for a stout. Finiish is dry and hoppy for a stout. Not sure what is being attempted here. Average at the best.

Dec 18, 2006 Cofee and brown sugar in the aroma from the black body that has very little head. medium to thin palate tastes of watered down coffee. Very one dimensional.

Dec 16, 2006 Bottle. Pours almost black. Aroma is very subtle almost hard to receive. Taste is common for a dry stout, roasted malts, medium bitterness and somewhat hoppy. Smooth to drink but VERY thin for a stout. More like a porter. Fun to try, but won’t add to my cellar.

Dec 11, 2006 Get some gramcracker and coffee in the aroma.Pours dark black with a small tan head.Flavors are sweet malt and bitter coffee.A little thin with some maltyness in the finish.

Nov 20, 2006 decent, very dry stout. Deep flavors up front leave a slightly burnt, roasty, lingering finish. A little thin.
