Pours a hazy gold with an initial one finger head that fades into an iceberg in the middle. Nose is a bit sour with some citrus and malt. Palate is a bit sour also with some bitter hop bite in the dry finish. Light mouth feel with spotty lacing. Interesting, but average. changeup45 (797), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 1, 2008 Golden colored with a thin head. Very weak aroma; it’s fresh, clean and kind of wheaty but there’s just not much there. The flavor starts with a relatively strong malt profile then turns to bitter hops and finishes dry. Interesting. There’s quite a bit of flavor for a Pale Ale (which I never guessed from the aroma) but it does seem a tad unbalanced. Not bad but not sure if this one makes the cut for another try. Too many good ones out there. CaptBier (303), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 1, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy amber. Evident peachy hop aroma. Medium sweet with clean mouthfeel and overly simplistic crystal malt character. Low-medium bitterness. Hop aromatic, but extremely shallow. All surface, no contents. emacgee (1891), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 18, 2008 Had this in Savannah while watching the St. Patricks day parade. Pretty standard appearance with a mediocre aroma, I think the bottles of this and the IPA from them I got were old. They tasted bad and old as opposed to bad and fresh. Oh well. estoppel (1028), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 17, 2008 Bottle. Light amber body, white head, hoppy nose. Mostly bittering hops, not much malt presence. Drinkable, forgettable,. milljam (584), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 13, 2008 Pale, golden yellow pour with a nice head of white bubbly foam. Hop aroma...but nothing too distinguishing. Flavor is muddled combination of malt and hops, but again, as in the aroma, nothing is really prevalent. Bitter finish with a lingering tang. Not something that I would really drink again. Snojerk321 (2002), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 28, 2008 12oz bottle from BevMo. Clear straw body, thin off-white head. Body is somewhat tangy with earthy, slightly piney hops and biscuity malts. Sweet and resiny. Passable. Haslinger (652), Syracuse, New York, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 24, 2008 Pretty mediocre pale ale. Nothing much stood out about this at all. Decent taste and finish but nothing special. I wouldn’t buy again
