There is little carbonation, and foam. IT has a good palate and clean taste and finish. Just slightly hoppy. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Oct 28, 2007 Yeasty grapefruit aroma. Cloudy amber with a thin head. Bready, barley and yeast taste. Rather delightful cilantro finish. I like the concept of this beer, but it didn’t come out very well. My bottle seems underfermented. Rated as is, I really want to try this again. badlizard (2353), Berkeley, California, USA

Malty aroma with hints of roasted barley. Taste of citrus and tobacco quickly followed by a bitter bite with a crisp bready finish and some lingering grassy notes. Better than I was expecting. keepersj12 (801), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 10, 2007 Had this beer on 8/11/1999. Color is a light golden with a lot of shit floating around in it. There is almost no carbonation or head. Aroma has a light hop scent to it. Taste is bitter and citrusy. It starts with a medium light body that goes with a bitter feel. The finish is citrus hop flavor backed by a hardy bitterness. fakepurseninja (785), Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 7, 2007 Nice pale, malty and hoppy drink. Smooth and medium bodied. The malt is heavy and rich, has a little tart citrus with some pear and apple and just a tad peppery. Floral and dry with just a hint of grassy hop presence. The malt really stands out in the finish - presented really well with a smooth backbone that is a tad caramelly and provides a nice setting for the crisp hop taste. More of an IPA really than a standard pale ale. not over-the-top, not extremely memorable but just a simple, well-constructed beer. LIght orange? Come on. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste was almost like a pale lager with more malt. The hops only hit you on the back of the tongue for a second.
