| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Pours a light amber color with a white head. Dissapointed in the appearance on this one. Aroma is of citrus hops, sweet malts, and caramel. A little light and watery on the aroma as well. Flavor is a little better then what I thought it was going to be with citrus and pine hops dominating. Slightly watery on the finish but still has some bittering. Flavor lingers but not for too long. Dissapointed in this brew. jgentgesdo (564), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 27, 2007 Pours pleasing yellow with small eggshell head. Nose is faint sour malt and pine hops. Citrus and pine hops dominate the flavor, with more sour malt. No biscuit or bready malt evident. Aftertaste is grapefruit. Watery mouthfeel. Acrid, too much grapefruit (almost grapefruit peel). Neh. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 26, 2007 I was not too impressed with this IPA. Its aroma is only faintly hoppy, flavor is very lightly hoppy but also includes some banana notes I feel do not belong, and mouthfeel is a bit watery. Apearance is excellent, with a hazy and gold color and sloppy-appealing amounts of cumulus head. Not ad, but not really recommended either. JLAudio (282), Crestwood, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 21, 2007 Definitely not the best IPA...pours a simple amberish color, not too deep, with little head (about finger width)...The hop aroma is there, but slightly not as fresh and fruity as expected from the label...The hops is still noticable, but the bitterness is lacking. Still, smooth, and easy drinking for sure. Not too harsh, but doesn’t leave you wanting more...average at best for a hops head...the pricetag is the only thing great about this at $5.99/6-pack. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 18, 2007 Pours a sparkling amber with a spare off-white head. The aroma is pine, citrus and a slight caramel maltiness. Medium bodied and lively (despite the lack of head) with a slightly tart finish. Flavor is initially a light sweet maltiness but is quickly followed by a hit of citric hop bitterness. This is a fresh and clean drinker and one of the better APAs that I’ve sampled recently. sethdude (602), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 9, 2007 Pours a slightly hazy yellow, medium head. Aroma is sharp, metallic. Hops dominate, with a slight pale malt backdrop. Slightly raw. Flavor is well balanced, though definitely on the lighter side. Somewhat acidic. Fruity hops give way to a soapy spot, then a long, bitter finish with malts toying at the edges. Definitely needs some caramel malts to add color and character. joohefner (380), Isla Vista, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 6, 2007 gold lemon color. salty floral and mild hop aroma. fairly thin mouthfeel light bitter floral orange on top of some mild carmel malt. thin flavor but balanced. i think the light body is what weakens the flavor jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 5, 2007 a boring and average pale. medium bodied, its easy to drink, but could have packed more flavor than just the malt and hop hints.
