Bottle. Standard golden color and a large white head to top it off. Aroma is yeast with some surprise fruit notes. First sip the flavor seems a bit odd with too much metal taste but I didnt get that later and overall enjoyed the sweet hoppy taste. Not really a refreshing beer but tasty.

12oz bottle. The Legend. Awesome citrus aroma. Deep pale golden color. Huge lace. Nice pale malt backbone. Sweet pale malt. Light toast. Very sweet along with a sharp Cascade hop. Smooth and sticky. Another very well done overall character for Mendocino Brewing Company. A great beer to enjoy while eating Beef Short Ribs with Spaghetti.

Appearance: straight clear amber with medium white top , ring of lace shown.
Nose: high alpha citric hop in profile , refreshing with sweet malt below.7+
Flavor/Palate : Mid bodied. Toasted malts with high hop pitch. Bitter-smooth till finish. Hops were more of aromatic kind. Drinkable American bitter.

Bottle: A bit surprised about the low ratings, I really liked it. For an APA is very nicely hopped floral and herbal. Well balanced, nice malt presence and good finish. Food Pairing: Bready dishes with tomato sauce like pizza, calzone.

Pours slightly hazed orange with a decent off-white head. Lemon and orange aroma and oddly, grapejuice. Taste is dull pine and citrus. A fair APA.

Pours a cloudy dark yellow. Small off white head. Nice lacing. Hoppy citrus aroma and taste with a little bit of sourness. Crisp citrusy grass finish. Not a bad brew at all.
