Dec 30, 2005 Bottle. Poured out a nice copper with a frothy white head. The aroma was strong with citrus and hops, perhaps a little malt in there as well. The flavor was at first a very sweet ruby red grapefruit and other citrus with some nice malt to balance and then a crisp bitter hops aftertaste. Good carbonation, nice complexity, very good mouth-feel. I’m surprised this is rated as low as it is, because I found it to be quite delicious for an APA.

Dec 23, 2005 Pour is a buttery looking yellow with a white fluffy head. Aroma is of faint hops. Flavor is very weak. Some hops and a very slight citrus to go along with some yeast but nothing to even care about. Overall pretty bland.

Dec 23, 2005 Citrus fruity nose if full and inviting. Very crisp and light with an unexpectedly bitter finish. The bitterness hides until the end and then springs out in all its glory. A slightly acrid finish made this one less than perfect.

Dec 17, 2005 An amber color with a dminishing head. The taste is a little sharp then fading to a semi-metallic aftertaste. As far as pale ales go, this is not my favorite by any means.

Dec 15, 2005 Bottle. Poured a golden color with a small white head that fully dissipated. Very faint aroma of citrus and malts. The flavor has a malt and orange mix to it. Bitter throughout with a metallic/alcohol flavored finish. Medium body. Definitely not one of my favorite APA’s.

Dec 6, 2005 Pours a very pretty clear copper with a perfect, thick off-white head. The aroma is mostly citrusy, a little floral but light. Flavor has notes of grapefruit/citrus, pale malt and an unpleasant bitter metallic taste on the back end. Medium bodied with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Great lacing and head retention. Unfortunately, the appearance is the only thing good about it.

Nov 21, 2005 Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold with white head. The aroma is mostly corn, but there is some grassy hop in there, too. The flavor is unpleasant: hay-tasting malt, lawn clippings, flat hops. This really lacks character.
