Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer pours a bright orange-gold color with a small white head. The aroma is fairly strong fruity and flowery hops with a faintly sweet undertone. The flavor is strong with floral hops and has a light vague fruity element. The beer has a fairly thick and strong body but is much dryer than I would have expected. hopdog (5609), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Sep 12, 2005 Poured a medium and hazy amber color with a larger sized white head. Aromas of yeast, light grapefruit and light oranges. Tastes of grapefruit with light malts. Lightly sweet with an almost fake sugary sweetness to it. The aroma had a musty nastiness to it and the tastes got worse the more I drank this one. willblake (2187), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

Clear golden amber, not glistening but pallid, with small white head, fleeting. Aroma is oxidized and soggy grains, dogged down by muddled hops that can’t decide if they’re fruity/citrus or not. Flavor is sadly limp and mildly malty grain followed by an awful harsh bitterness, peppery, and burning pepper from middle to finish. Retro alcohol adds to the nastiness. Other than a pleasant instant just after the sip, this stuff is definitely not good and gets worse the longer it’s in my mouth. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Flavor is surprisingly hoppy. Grapefruit bitterness greets your mouth then is backed up pretty well with malts. On the palate this is light but not overcarbonated. A good summer beer. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 20, 2005 Looks like a flat lager after pouring, I have a feeling I’m about to be disappointed. A mild aroma conceals a surprisingly hoppy taste which fades quickly. Nothing special here. SmellGood (319), Memphis, Tennessee, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 17, 2005 Smelled a wee bit skunky. Poured nice and had an ample head that stayed around a bit. Muddy gold in color. Water with bite is the best I can describe it. Hop is present, but the body is so thin it just comes off as spicy water.
