Nice hop aroma with a good smooth hop flavor. Pours as a nice golden yellow with a decent head. Will definately drink again when the weather warms up. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 17, 2005 Lighter and paler than I had hoped for, but a good hops flavor. A very enjoyable beer that I’d drink a lot more of in the summer. Probably the lightest beer I’d drink regulartly. awaller05 (301), Sharon, Wisconsin, USA

Most of my experiences with Pale ales are reminicent of cowboy coffee, (you know the deal, you just drank the last of the pot and instead of making a whole new batch you just add water to go over the old grounds) anyways this beer was different than that. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 25, 2005 Nice gold color, hoppy, but not enough for my taste, ok flavor, but not great, I’d drink this beer again, but I wouldn’t seek it out. Trader joes has it for a pk price though. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 12, 2005 Dark golden/amberish color, small white head that faded quickly but left a very slight lace behind, very slight.Nice hoppy aroma with a slight grapefruit side and mild malt coming through as well. The taste was beter then i was expecting.Nicely hoppy with a decent grapefruit and slight piney side going on here. The malty side is okay with an after taste that is pretty much all hops. It’s a bit one sided but very good and easy to drink.Well worth trying again. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 11, 2005 Bottle: Citrus dominate the aroma (almost lemon cleanerish) but there are some unpleasant pale lager aromas lingering in the background. Pours a slightly hazy yellowish-orange with a nice white head with good retention. Real nice lacing. Rather citrusy from start to finish. Just like the aroma, has the pale lager flavors lingering in the background. Some light hops in the finish show up more in the aftertaste. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA

Aroma of oranges and bread. Maybe a hint of vanilla. Taste is a bready unbalanced hopped beer. It has notes of burnt toast and some rotten oranges. A weird cardboard finish. johno (84), Galveston, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 30, 2004 Bottle. Small white head. Slightly cloudy amber-gold. Pretty flat. Average hops aroma, citrusy. Light initial flavor leads to surprisingly lasting, bitter finish; big hoppy aftertaste that lasts.
