| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 23, 2009 Pours a yellow color... ugly yellow. No real forming head but what does form is a white color. Very bland in smell and taste. By far not even close to my style pale ale. Very unimpressed with what the beer man told me about this one. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 3, 2009 12 oz bottle, purchased at McScrooges in Knoxville. Poured a clear orange/gold with a one finger white head. Floral aroma with citrus notes. Flavor had a nice malty base. The finish was piney and bitter. I wasn’t keen on this one for some reason. The flavor had something that just did not quite agree. I will try another an possibly re-rate. MrBunn (1537), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 31, 2008 Bottle. Orange body with a smallish fluffy head. Aromas of floral hops, oranges and light malt (sugar cookie?). Flavor starts off mild and malt heavy, but this soon gives way to major pine and spruce hops flavors and a bitter finish. The hops presence in the finish isn’t indicated at all in the nose, so it was a nice surprise. This is pretty good. Oscbert (547), Sacramento, California, USA
