Light spice. Sort of a low end IPA flavor. Thin. Not really all that fun to drink. noelcb (271), Toledo, Ohio, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 9, 2006 Amber-honey color, fair near-white sudsy head, a bit of lace. Aromas of malt, spice, strawberries, pineapple, caramel and a wisp of vanilla. Flavor is nice caramel malt, chocolate, brandy, grapefruit and a nice bit of floral hops. Good bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Average palate, but doesn’t detract from an otherwise good ale. beermouth (435), Langeskov, Denmark

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 25, 2006 12oz bottle. Deep amber hue with a ruby tint. Slight ring of white head. Sweet malty nose with a sweet cherry candy aroma. Medium bodied with a bitter, almost rye 7-Up zest. Lively and cocoa malty. Medium burn with a little heat. Little age worthy. Layered but with sharp flavor profiles. Not very rounded. Getting better as it warms. Solid. Strong but sweet. daboskabouter (1470), Fergus, Ontario, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 22, 2006 Bright copper with little head. The nose reminded me of a barley wine with hints of sweet malt and brown sugar, alcohol, candy and fruit. The body is spritzy with a light hop bitterness and a touch of malt. Too sweet, not very drinkable.
