Slightly bitter but ok. This beer hit the spot. A cool refresher after having that awefull chilli beer. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 5/5 | 11/20 | Apr 9, 2005 Aroma wants to be delicious, but it falls just short. First whiff is of fresh hops, but the nose deteriorates to a cloying, sour maltiness with some citrus notes. Hazy, urine yellow with a small, quickly diminishing head. No lace to speak of. Flavor is light and thin with faint honey notes on the back of the tongue. An unassuming summer refresher. Probably goes well with a slice of lemon; the ladies will like that and the pretty bird on the label. Actually, not that bad for what it is. Very easy drinking. With 1-1.5% more ABV and 20-30 more IBUs, this would be a wonderful beer. Thanks Slikwily. Padron4KM (405), Chandler, Arizona, USA

Pours out golden yellow with a fizzy, like-it-was-just-poured-from-a-soda-fountain, head.
Head quickly dissapates and leaves little to no lace.
Aroma is pretty non descript. grainy malt, slightly grassy.
Flavor is much the same. Bland lager.
You could keep a sixer of this in the fridge for your mooching, BMC drinking friends.

Some pilsener malts but not a lot else. Yeah, the flavor is pretty much the same as the aroma. Piss of hops and a piss of malts. Boring and bland. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jan 18, 2005 Decent golden orange color, small white head that faded quickly leaving nothing behind.Lightly malty honey like aroma with a decent sweet side coming through.Nice sweet malt taste with maybe a slight nutty taste and a decent light hop presence.Very smooth and easy to drink.Kind of pleasant in a way.granted it’s nothing special for taste but it would make a decent lawnmower brew. millerclmb (44), Boulder, Missouri, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 15, 2005 Smells great...but something is quite mild about it’s appearance...to watery for me. I’m not really familiar with what a golden ale is...but I was expecting more hops in the taste. Definitly a summer beer...and considering it is the dead of winter I’m not enjoying it much.
