Feb 28, 2003 The beer pours a translucent golden color, the head miniscule, the color white, the lace patchy. Nose has a nice floral aroma, underlying malt, citrus crisp and clean, quite nice to sniff. Start is sweet and malt laden the top middling in feel to the palate, finish has a moderate acidity, the hops pleasant in their spicy bite, aftertaste droughty, drinkable but there are much better “Pales/Golden Ales”.

Feb 12, 2003 A dingy yellow color with virtually no head. A hoppy grapefruit aroma...only a bit of malts. A nice bite up front with some hops and malty balance. Unfortunetly the warmer it got...the sweeter...I would have enjoyed the bitterness throughout the whole beer.

Dec 6, 2002 Very uninteresting. Light color, light feel. Some nice hops bitterness in the aroma and flavor, but mostly there was a kind of burnt ugliness there. I would prefer this to the typical American standard lager, but that’s not really saying much.

Nov 4, 2002 Light straw color. Small head. Slight malt and hop aroma. Light bitterness. Very mild flavors. Slight hop flavor, slight malt flavor. Some graininess. Light body. An easy drinking beer. Not stunning, but certainly not bad.

Oct 31, 2002 Updated: Jan 22, 2003Re-Rate @ brewpub in Hopland, CA. Light golden color. A cider like aroma with a light and easy drinkin' quality. Tap 4 3 4 3 10. A hazy wheat look. An interesting mix of wheat and ale. A wheat texture but not the spice or flavor I expected or wanted.

Sep 27, 2002 Light gold color, small head. Mild ale with a slight hop flavor, nice malty taste. Finish is crisp, not a lot of bitterness. Crisp and mild. Nice flavor
