Commercial Description:
Peregrine Golden Ale is light blonde in color, slightly hoppy and is characterized by a tint of a hint of hazelnuts in the finish. Peregrine Golden Ale is the lightest-bodied ale we brew and it is made with 100% Cascade Whole Hops - which gives it that delicate character that makes it a perfectly refreshing spring and summer ale.

Tasting Notes from Fall 2000: Pleasant, not very hoppy. A bit of sweetness. Their ’drinkable’ beer

Clear gold, yellow creamy head, spotty lacing. Some pine resin & musky grains. Taste is mild, some sweetness & grains are present. Watery tail, balanced. Hoppy than most golden ales.

Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light yellow, dense tiny/small particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (bread, toasted grain), lightly hoppy (herbs, flowers), trace yeast (cobwebs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Too sweet, but reasonable for the style.

Light gold color, small head. Mild ale with a slight hop flavor, nice malty taste. Finish is crisp, not a lot of bitterness. Crisp and mild. Nice flavor

Hazy yellow-orange that cleared with time and the reduction of the big white head. Moderatley active. There's yeast on the nose. The flavor is also vaguely yeasty, lightly citric, and well balanced. Quiet tart finish. Mellow.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a small white head. Aromas of cereal, leman and a bit of grassiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of grain, and a touch of lemon with a crisp clean finish.

Very light hop aroma with the flavor of a full bodied pale lager. Golden, like the style says but no head at all; nearly flat. Decent palate but little to enjoy. An ok session beer.

Pours a light straw gold with a small white head. Aroma is very light and straw-like, floral hops a light sweet fruity hint. Taste is lightly citrus, light on the malts, and a bit fruity. A very shy beer.
