Commercial Description:
Peregrine Golden Ale is light blonde in color, slightly hoppy and is characterized by a tint of a hint of hazelnuts in the finish. Peregrine Golden Ale is the lightest-bodied ale we brew and it is made with 100% Cascade Whole Hops - which gives it that delicate character that makes it a perfectly refreshing spring and summer ale.

Excellent golden ale by Mendochino!!! Crisp, slightly hoppy, slightly citrus flavor, cloudy gold in color. And yes, I can taste the hazelnut. I couldn't identify what "that" was until I read the description on here.

Beautiful golden color, small, white head which is quite lacy. Lots of citrusy notes. Delicious aftertaste. Quite enjoyable, to be sure.

The beer pours a translucent golden color, the head miniscule, the color white, the lace patchy. Nose has a nice floral aroma, underlying malt, citrus crisp and clean, quite nice to sniff. Start is sweet and malt laden the top middling in feel to the palate, finish has a moderate acidity, the hops pleasant in their spicy bite, aftertaste droughty, drinkable but there are much better “Pales/Golden Ales”.

Light straw color. Small head. Slight malt and hop aroma. Light bitterness. Very mild flavors. Slight hop flavor, slight malt flavor. Some graininess. Light body. An easy drinking beer. Not stunning, but certainly not bad.

For a blond this stuff was not to bad. It lacked flavor and depth but it's a blond.

Tasting Notes from Fall 2000: Pleasant, not very hoppy. A bit of sweetness. Their ’drinkable’ beer

Great for a hot sunny day, this one goes down super smooth and clean. Nice light body with some hoppy sweetness in the aftertaste. Tasty.

A dingy yellow color with virtually no head. A hoppy grapefruit aroma...only a bit of malts. A nice bite up front with some hops and malty balance. Unfortunetly the warmer it got...the sweeter...I would have enjoyed the bitterness throughout the whole beer.
