| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 15, 2004 A hazy almond color. Lightly malty, nutty aroma, slight hints of straw. A little bit of plasticy/vinyl hint. Lots of body for a lager, slightly sweet to begin with ending with some blurry hops. Pleasant enough overall, but indistinct. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 2, 2004 A red beer that is a pale lager? OK, the yeast defines the beer not the malt, so OK. I remember talking to eczematic a while ago about Irish Red Ales where he said he just didn’t get it. Ditto. Only a short hit of red, presumably some crystal malt, but so what? A typical lager beer which floats my boat only just. Saarlander (1579), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA

Its head was gone quickly, and it had alot of floaters in it, large white floaters! Couldn’t tell what it was. I’d drink it again, but I wouldn’t buy it. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA

Out of the bottle this pours a light golden/amber with a small white head. Light citrus hopping, with a bit of sweet malt backing. Taste is fruiity up front with a balanced bitter finish. The bitterness trails off in the aftertaste leaving a stale hop flavor behind. This brew was very thin tasting with a metallic taste in the finish. Hab40oz (242), Grants Pass, Oregon, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 15, 2004 Aroma ia pretty much all malt, pours a golden color with a tinge of reddness, thin creamy head. This lager has good spiciness to start then turns to a decent full body. Not bad for a lager, but still a lager. AlchemistZ (493), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 11, 2004 Dark gold in color with hints of orange and a white head. Aroma is reminiscent of a brit bitter in hops and malt (I smell tobacco and leather). Some spice in the nose leads me to believe the noble hop desription on the bottle. Flavor takes on a more decidedly noble hop character though it still shows some brit hop character. A big toasty malt throughout leads to sweetness in the finish that is balanced by a mild bitterness. motelpogo (4394), Plzen, Czech Republic
