Commercial Description:
Red Tail Ale - The Legend is our flagship brand. It is brewed in the traditional "old world" manner, using premium two-row malted barley, hops and our own special proprietary yeast strain. It is an amber ale with a rich complex refreshing flavor and a crisp dry finish. Red Tail Ale is "Bottle Conditioned." Like good wine, Red Tail Ale is a perfect complement to fine dining.

Moderate initial citric aroma with some caramel maltiness following. Some spruce hops balanced with caramel malt. A perfectly average, acceptable but no more than that, amber ale. Nothing exceptional about this but it IS an amber ale so no one’s standards should be too high anyway.

Amber with medium head. Lightly toasted malt with caramel and a little sweetness. OK session beer with decent bitterness...it is what it is.

Bottle. Clear amber pour with an off white head. Aroma of caramel malt and some earthy hops. Flavor matches, sweet caramel malt up front with nice light hop finish. Nice beer.

Bottle. Amber in color. Not a lot in terms of a head. Somewhat of a bitter taste. A decent beer. Could have been better

Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Some lacings. Aroma is floral hops. Taste bitter grapefruit-citrus hops with lots of sweet malts. Ends with a bitter dry finish.

reddish brown with mild head. a mild crystal malt aspect with a fair amount of hop bitterness but only mild flavor addition. overall the beer is understated. the beer isn’t bad, but there is nothing particularly good about it due to the weak maltiness mainly

Bottled from a multi pack. Pours amber with a mild orange/cream head. Smells of alcohol and citrus. Has a crisp acidic flavor, more like a lighter ale. Overall, it’s decent, but not great

is one has a nice cloudy amber color, but the head looks disgusting. All bubbles, and hardly any foam. Aroma is faint. Fruity like dried apples. Taste is bland, but at least it’s not watery. I can taste hops and spiced apples. Tickles the tounge on the way down.
