Mar 4, 2008 Bottle. Since I am a malt lover this beer was slightly disappointing. I loved the initial taste but the strong hops overtook the first taste way too much. Good beer otherwise and should be enjoyed at least once and even though it is not very hoppy it may be enjoined by those who like hops.

Feb 24, 2008 12 oz bottle. There was a decent aroma when I initially opened it, but then it seemed to taper off. Not much for the appearance, pale orange color and not much head. The flavor isn’t too bad however. Good malt feel and a the alcohol content seems to balance it decently. Nothing amazing, but very drinkable

Feb 23, 2008 Pour a cloudy copper. It took a while, but i finally got a decent head, which lasts a little bit. Aroma is slightly hoppy, slightly malty. Appearance is nice, and the flavor is pretty average. The palate is thin. Overall, i’d say average is the right word to describe this beer.

Feb 23, 2008 This beer shoots to be crisp and in doing so misses the mark on flavor. This one doesn’t follow rule #1--that the beer should actually taste good.
Minimal body, watery mouthfeel, very astringent and grainy, dry, hops overpower the malts, honey color, white head, decent lacing, aroma as plain as the the rest of the brew

Feb 22, 2008 Poured and amber color with a whilte head. Very little aroma. Sweet malty flavor with just a smidge of hops. I wasn’t overly impressed with this average beer.

Feb 20, 2008 Pours a clear medium red color with a fizzy white head and some nice lacing. Aroma of sour grain, thought very light. Flavor is grainy as well, with a rather watery palate and sweeter finish. OK.

Feb 19, 2008 Amber, moderate white head that falls quickly, lively carbonation. Somewhat grainy malt base, subtle hop nose. Somewhat astringent on the tongue, odd bitter twang that I don’t relate to hops. Decent malt base, carries through to the end. Overall, the aroma and flavor were lacking, not necessarily bad, just lacking.
