Commercial Description:
Red Tail Ale - The Legend is our flagship brand. It is brewed in the traditional "old world" manner, using premium two-row malted barley, hops and our own special proprietary yeast strain. It is an amber ale with a rich complex refreshing flavor and a crisp dry finish. Red Tail Ale is "Bottle Conditioned." Like good wine, Red Tail Ale is a perfect complement to fine dining.

12oz bottle from 10 pack world market sampler... very light color for an amber ale.. white head... simple aroma, hints roasted hops but nothing overpowering.. very smooth well balanced initial hit, a small degree of piney, toasty hoppiness at the tail end but no bite or aftertaste.. the bark is bigger than the bite but not a bad little brew....

Cashew, walnut, and pineapple aroma, a touch yeasty. Slightly cloudy ochre color, thin yellow head, nice laing. Nutty vanilla flavor, not sweet, with definite bark notes. A rather rusty brew. Subdued grapefuit peel finish. Although this is not a great offering, I really like this brewer.

I liked this one better than their other beers. Strong flavor, much hoppier than I expected. More bitterness than their IPA. It could have used a little more malt balance, but the flavor was good. Light bodied and well carbonated.

Typical med/dark amber pour, few bubbles, medium somewhat creamy head. Very fragrant, hoppy with some obvious malt undertones. Flavor is hops, with some citrus and very little malt. Bitter and sweet finish. Very drinkable for a beer with this much in it...the light side of an APA. Palate is thin but adequate. Excellent, well balanced.

Pours a red-orange with a very light head. Light malty scent which is mainly dominated by a hoppy odor. Starts off crisp and slightly sweet, and ends with a pretty good hop bitterness. It’s pretty good, but not outstanding.
