Commercial Description:
Red Tail Ale - The Legend is our flagship brand. It is brewed in the traditional "old world" manner, using premium two-row malted barley, hops and our own special proprietary yeast strain. It is an amber ale with a rich complex refreshing flavor and a crisp dry finish. Red Tail Ale is "Bottle Conditioned." Like good wine, Red Tail Ale is a perfect complement to fine dining.

copper with fluffy porous head... fresh smell of dry hops and some typical amber... dry hops very strong in aroma, not really much else to it.... very watery texture

Bottle. Yawn! Average amber. Orange and copper color with thin white head. Strong flavor at first but quickly disappeared into thin taste with slightly metallic finish. Kinda average.

Apple and malt aroma. Clear Light amber color with a small white head. Slightly sweet start with a mildly bitter finish.

Poured from a bottle a copper-orange clear body with a nice looking creamy white head. Malty sweet and slightly fruity nose. Sharp flavor initially, but finished kind of flat. Decent beer, but not great.

12 oz. bottle via trade with IrishBoy - Pours a hazy amber color with a half finger thick off white head. Aroma is toasted caramel malt and light herbal hops. Flavor is caramel malt with a nice hop bite. Light to medium body. Has a slight lingering caramel aftertaste. A decent Amber. Thanks Richard.

Pours a slightly hazed amber with a light tan head. Very mild nose. Very slight touches of hops and citrus, but not really much to speak of (and this was off a somewhat aggresive pour). Flavor is strong with a metallic edge off the start. Almost makes me go: "Eck." Once you get past that there are sweet tones with hop influence. But overall...way too much metallic edge. After a while, I feel like I left a penny in my mouth too long. Feel is actually pretty decent. It might be the highlight of the whole experience. Strong carbonation and a thicker feel on the fluid. But overall it doesn’t do much to save the drinkability. Not really worth trying, or in my case, trying again.

Pretty good. Pours an amber hue with an aroma dominated by malt, and especially yeast. The flavor is a maltiness balanced by hop bitterness with a distinguishable bready note. Its finish is dry and crisp

Twangy metallic aftertaste is the worst thing about this beer. Immediate drain pour, I’ll stick to my homebrews.
