Commercial Description:
Red Tail Ale - The Legend is our flagship brand. It is brewed in the traditional "old world" manner, using premium two-row malted barley, hops and our own special proprietary yeast strain. It is an amber ale with a rich complex refreshing flavor and a crisp dry finish. Red Tail Ale is "Bottle Conditioned." Like good wine, Red Tail Ale is a perfect complement to fine dining.

One of the first craft beers that I fell in love with. Just revisited it and it is still solid. Some hops and malt on the nose. Pours amber with some head. Balanced carbonation with a smooth finish. Flavor is sweet and light. Some hops present. Nice beer for a hot day.

Pours amber with a small white head. Nose is butterscotch. Taste is toasted malt, toffee, and mild hops. Decent, but nothing that special.

Bottle: Nice malty sweetness with a faint hoppiness. Bready wheat notes. A good session beer. Food Pairing: BBQ ribs.

Bottled. A red-amber beer with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy and malty. Taste is also malty with fruty notes. Some bitterness in the end. A simple but good beer

Bottle at Bulldogs Jackson MS. Dark gold with no head. Nose is very light hops. Taste is light hops with a faint malt background. Medium body. Tastes stale and bitter and barely drinkable. Yuk.

Really heavy on the malt, and with that being said, the malt didn’t taste that great. A solid beer but lacks something to make it interesting.
