Commercial Description:
Red Tail Ale - The Legend is our flagship brand. It is brewed in the traditional "old world" manner, using premium two-row malted barley, hops and our own special proprietary yeast strain. It is an amber ale with a rich complex refreshing flavor and a crisp dry finish. Red Tail Ale is "Bottle Conditioned." Like good wine, Red Tail Ale is a perfect complement to fine dining.

This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of fine to medium sized mostly lasting off-white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent with a slight yeast swirl and golden in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild malt and grass. Its mouth feel is initially tingly with a lingering tingly palate. Its flavor contained mild bitter malty hoppy notes. A very average brew.

on tap at Oleos sports bar in Santa Rosa, CA. (5th & Mendecino). love that the tap for it is a big red bird (handle). medium-body murky amber with a minimal white head. tastes crisp, well carbonated. aroma is sweet with light hops. strong malty flavors. drinkable, but not repeatable.

Pours a medium amber color. Aroma was almost non-existent, a little malt and hops. Flavor started with a nice bitter offering and then disappeared. No aftertaste what so ever. Was like drinking water.

Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy orange color with a creamy, off-white head that mostly dissipated and left light lacing rings. The aroma was light but sweet with caramel malts hitting the nose. Flavor mostly showed caramel but also had a light hoppiness. Light to medium body, dry texture, with a light bitter finish.

crisp, bitter, two proged flavor. minimal aroma, quickly diminishing head.. it’s somewhat sour, very malty, the hop flavor to what extent it is there is mediocre. not a drainpour, but not one I’d return to.

Bottled, at the East Brewery, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.
Lager in a bottle. A little extra malt perhaps but you have to go searching for difference. Drinkable but far from memorable.

Amber colored, medium bodied, fairly strong. Low carbonation, very drinkable. A pretty good beer.
