| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 2, 2009 12oz bottle. Multiple tastings. I used to love this beer but I think something must have changed in the recipe after they started widely distributing it. This rating is based on a later tasting. While it is still a very drinkable ale I did not find anything remarkable about it this time around. larsniclas (3390), Gothenburg, Sweden

Dark amber with a brief, white head.
Light and hoppy citric aroma.
Fresh with a light body.
A lot of citrus in the flavour; lil cuties. ChainGangGuy (2613), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 14, 2009 Appearance: Pours a clear, deep, dark amber body with a small, whitish head.
Smell: Toasty, chewy caramel malt aroma peppered with floral, citrusy hop notes.
Taste: Pale malts, toasted grains, and sweet caramel sauce upfront. Dash of mineral water. The slight graininess and a touch of fruit leads you into the floral, lightly citric hops and mild bitterness that rides out beyond the dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-high carbonation.
Drinkability: A decent amber ale that’s very middle-of-the-road in terms of flavor; it’s neither overly malty or hoppy. lithy (1825), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 11, 2009 Light orange with a thick off white finger of nicely lacing head. Aroma is metal, caramel malt, grassy hops. Taste is slightly better, fruity raisin, toffee, caramel, more grassy hops that don’t fit. McGarnigle (318), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 10, 2009 Longneck with no apparent date. Slight citrusy aroma. Clear red-orange body, dying head. Bottle conditioned? How so? Hops are used to dry it out, not so much for bitterness or flavor. I don’t taste the Cascades. Almost a No. American lager hop quality, if any. Still a pretty good sessions ale. It’s their flagship, and it’s not supposed to blow you away. Plamadude30k (122), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 23, 2009 A relatively weak aroma (though this may have been a function of the place I was in) which was slightly sweet. Reddish-copper in color with a quickly disappearing head of off-white foam. The flavor is un-complex and rather straightforward. Certainly not bad, but not my favorite nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 19, 2009 12 oz bottle purchased at McScrooge’s in Knoxville. Poured a clear dark amber color with a two finger off white head. The aroma was sweet malt, with a floral note, and maybe some citrus. The flavor had a sweet malt base and a floral finish. The palate was average with good carbonation, a crisp mouthfeel and a lighter body.
