stefanje (596), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA Jul 16, 2008 12 oz bottle courtesy of Beastiefan2k. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a big white fluffy meringue head. The aroma is spicy with pepper, thyme, soap and a bit of citrus. The flavor is citrusy-soapy with a bit of funk. The mothfeel is full and malty. The finish is long and slightly sour with lemons. Overall: A very interesting wit, and a good summer beer at that. Recommended.
IlanMan (575), Winona, Minnesota, USA Sep 28, 2008 Bottle: Pour is bright golden with a bit of sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is of light ginger, orange, citrus, and coriander. I got a bit of lemon right away in the flavor which seemed to dominate. Not much malt going on here and the spices are all shadowed by the lemon. Has a somewhat dry finish. Thirst quenching brew but not much else going on here. Not worth another purchase. cbkschubert (1611), Rattlesnake Country, Arizona, USA Sep 20, 2008 12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a cloudy light golden color with a 1/2 finger thick white head. Faint lacing. Aroma is light malt, spices, and light esters. Flavor is very light malt and spices. Light body. Thin palate. Worth a try I guess. ratman197 (2362), Arvada, Colorado, USA Sep 13, 2008 Bottle poured a cloudy gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, spice and light plastic. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a lightly dry finish. Flavors of wheat, orange peel and light coriander with a smooth spice finish. slimchill (656), Austin, Texas, USA Sep 1, 2008 Bottle. Nose is light coriander, somewhat musky. Cloudy, very pale yellow with good thin white head. Opens with coriander and becomes very muddled before fading into a tart citrus finish. Full-bodied with very little carbonation. Lacking in many respects. TheBeerBaron (167), Florida, USA Sep 1, 2008 Cloudy light straw yellow color, fast fading white head. Some carbonation is noticed through the cloudy glass. Robust citrus aroma of grapefruit and lemon. Honey and wheat are in the aroma as well. Salt is the first taste to hit the tongue not nearly as sweet or yummy as it smells. Palate is as light as the color of the beer. A dissapointing salty and watery beer.
